A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in VMware vCenter Server and Cloud Foundation (Server Management Software) (version now known). This issue affects some unknown processing of the component URL Request Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a server-side request forgery vulnerability. The vCenter Server contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability. A malicious actor with network access to 443 on the vCenter Server may exploit this issue by accessing a URL request outside of vCenter Server or accessing an internal service.
