A vulnerability has been found in Omnicron OmniHTTPD (Web Server) (affected version not known) and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the file test.php/test.shtml/redir.exe. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in OmniHTTPd allow remote attackers to insert script or HTML into web pages via (1) test.php, (2) test.shtml, or (3) redir.exe.
