A vulnerability was found in Rizin up to 0.4.0 and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function get_long_object of the component Binary Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a integer overflow vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-190. The product performs a calculation that can produce an integer overflow or wraparound, when the logic assumes that the resulting value will always be larger than the original value. Rizin v0.4.0 and below was discovered to contain an integer overflow via the function get_long_object(). This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted binary.
