A vulnerability was found in XWiki Platform up to 13.10.4/14.2 (Content Management System). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality. XWiki Platform is a generic wiki platform. Prior to versions 13.10.5 and 14.3, it is possible to perform a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack for adding or removing tags on XWiki pages. The problem has been patched in XWiki 13.10.5 and 14.3. As a workaround, one may locally modify the `documentTags.vm` template in one's filesystem, to apply the changes exposed there.
The weakness was presented 09/09/2022 as GHSA-fxwr-4vq9-9vhj. The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2022-36095 since 07/15/2022. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
