A vulnerability was found in GLPI up to 10.0.2 (Asset Management Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown functionality of the component Planning Handler. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. GLPI stands for Gestionnaire Libre de Parc Informatique and is a Free Asset and IT Management Software package, that provides ITIL Service Desk features, licenses tracking and software auditing. Usage of RSS feeds or extenal calendar in planning is subject to SSRF exploit. Server-side requests can be used to scan server port or services opened on GLPI server or its private network. Queries responses are not exposed to end-user (blind SSRF). Users are advised to upgrade to version 10.0.3 to resolve this issue. There are no known workarounds.
The weakness was released 09/15/2022 as GHSA-rqgx-gqhp-x8vv. The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2022-36112 since 07/15/2022. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
Upgrading to version 10.0.3 eliminates this vulnerability. Applying the patch ad66d69049ae02bead8ed0f4ee654a458643244e is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at github.com. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
