The weakness was published 12/31/2003 by Dennis Rand as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2003-1322 since 03/21/2007. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
