A vulnerability has been found in Ezmeeting 3.3/3.4/3.5 and classified as very critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown part in the library SwEzModule.dll of the file eznet.exe. The manipulation of the argument autologin with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-119. Stack-based buffer overflow in eZnet.exe, as used in eZ (a) eZphotoshare, (b) eZmeeting, (c) eZnetwork, and (d) eZshare allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or execute arbitrary code, as demonstrated via (1) a long GET request and (2) a long operation or autologin parameter to SwEzModule.dll.
The weakness was disclosed 12/07/2003 (Website). The advisory is available at milw0rm.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2003-1339 since 09/23/2007. The exploitation appears to be easy.
