Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in cc_guestbook.pl in CGI City CC GuestBook allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) name and (2) homepage_title (webpage title) parameters.
The weakness was published 12/31/2003 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2003-1556 since 04/03/2008. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
