A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Lansweeper 10.1.1.0. Affected by this issue is the function addDoc of the file AssetActions.aspx of the component HTTP Request Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. A directory traversal vulnerability exists in the AssetActions.aspx addDoc functionality of Lansweeper lansweeper 10.1.1.0. A specially-crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary file upload. An attacker can send an HTTP request to trigger this vulnerability.
