FastCGI (aka fcgi and libfcgi) 2.4.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (segmentation fault and crash) via a large number of connections.
The weakness was disclosed 01/08/2023 as GASA-2015-0184. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-6687 since 02/07/2015. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1499.
