A vulnerability was found in Freshmeat Network Query Tool 1.6. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the file nqt.php. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in nqt.php in Network Query Tool (NQT) 1.6 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the portNum parameter.

The weakness was presented 04/23/2004 by Janek Vind with waraxe (Website). The advisory is shared for download at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2004-1964 since 05/04/2005. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
