A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in SiteFusion Application Server up to 6.6.6 (Application Server Software). This affects an unknown function of the file getextension.php of the component Extension Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality.
