A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Gimmie Plugin 1.2.2 on vBulletin. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file trigger_referral.php. The manipulation of the argument referrername with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
