A vulnerability was found in WP Meta SEO Plugin up to 4.5.3 on WordPress (WordPress Plugin) and classified as problematic. The WP Meta SEO plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 4.5.3. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the setIgnore function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to update plugin options via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
