A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Icewarp Web Mail 7.4.5. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file viewaction.html. The manipulation of the argument user with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. (dot dot) in the user parameter to viewaction.html or (2) rename arbitrary files via a ....// (doubled dot dot) in the folderold or folder parameters to folders.html.
