A vulnerability was found in Google TensorFlow up to 2.11.0 (Artificial Intelligence Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function DynamicStitch. The manipulation of the argument indices with an unknown input leads to a out-of-bounds vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-125. TensorFlow is an open source platform for machine learning. Prior to versions 2.12.0 and 2.11.1, if the parameter `indices` for `DynamicStitch` does not match the shape of the parameter `data`, it can trigger an stack OOB read. A fix is included in TensorFlow version 2.12.0 and version 2.11.1.
The weakness was shared 03/25/2023 as GHSA-93vr-9q9m-pj8p. The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2023-25659 since 02/09/2023. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
