A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in AnyMailing Plugin up to 8.2.x on Joomla (Joomla Component). Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the component System Files Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Missing access control in AnyMailing Joomla Plugin allows to list and access files containing sensitive information from the plugin itself and access to system files via path traversal, when being granted access to the campaign's creation on front-office. This issue affects AnyMailing Joomla Plugin in versions below 8.3.0.
