A vulnerability was found in All-In-One Security Plugin up to 5.1.4 on WordPress (WordPress Plugin) and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code of the component Setting Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. The All-In-One Security (AIOS) WordPress plugin before 5.1.5 does not limit what log files to display in it's settings pages, allowing an authorized user (admin+) to view the contents of arbitrary files and list directories anywhere on the server (to which the web server has access). The plugin only displays the last 50 lines of the file.
