A vulnerability has been found in Managentities Plugin up to 4.0.1 on GLPI and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the file inc/cri.class.php. The manipulation of the argument file with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. The Managentities plugin before 4.0.2 for GLPI allows reading local files via directory traversal in the inc/cri.class.php file parameter.
The weakness was released 04/16/2023 as GHSA-4hpg-m8fv-xv3h. The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2022-34127 since 06/20/2022. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1006.
