Netflix Lemur before version 1.3.2 used insufficiently random values when generating default credentials. The insufficiently random values may allow an attacker to guess the credentials and gain access to resources managed by Lemur.
The weakness was released 04/20/2023 as GHSA-5fqv-mpj8-h7gm. The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2023-30797 since 04/18/2023. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1600.001 for this issue.
