The DNS packet parsing/generation code in PowerDNS (aka pdns) Authoritative Server 3.4.x before 3.4.6 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via crafted query packets.
The weakness was disclosed 04/22/2023. The advisory is shared at doc.powerdns.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-5230 since 07/01/2015. The exploitability is told to be easy.
