A vulnerability was found in phpBugTracker 0.9.1 and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown part of the file bug.php. SQL injection vulnerability in bug.php in phpBugTracker 0.9.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via (1) the bug_id parameter in a viewvotes operation or (2) the project parameter in an add operation.
The weakness was disclosed 11/12/2004 by Jessica Soules as confirmed posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2004-1519 since 02/18/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
