A vulnerability was found in m.static 2.2.0. It has been declared as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function requestFile. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. All versions of the package m.static are vulnerable to Directory Traversal due to improper input sanitization of the path being requested via the requestFile function.
