A vulnerability has been found in Edimax Full Rate ADSL Router AR-6004 (Router Operating System) and classified as problematic. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the web management interface in Edimax AR-6004 ADSL Routers allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the URL.
The bug was discovered 01/06/2004. The weakness was published 01/08/2004 by Rafel Ivgi (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2004-1790 since 05/04/2005. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
