A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Cactusoft Cactushop 5.0/5.1. This issue affects an unknown code of the file popuplargeimage.asp. The manipulation of the argument strImageTag with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in popuplargeimage.asp in CactuShop 5.x allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the strImageTag parameter.
The bug was discovered 03/16/2004. The weakness was presented 03/31/2004 by Nick Gudov with S-Quadra (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at secunia.com.
