A vulnerability was found in Shiba-Design Nukecalendar 1.1.a (Calendar Software). It has been rated as problematic. The (1) modules.php, (2) block-Calendar.php, (3) block-Calendar1.php, (4) block-Calendar_center.php scripts in NukeCalendar 1.1.a, as used in PHP-Nuke, allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via a URL with an invalid argument, which reveals the full path in an error message.
The weakness was disclosed 12/31/2004 by Janek Vind with waraxe (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at marc.theaimsgroup.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2004-1912 since 05/04/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1592 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
The exploit is available at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:modules.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
