A vulnerability was found in Niti Telecom Caravan Business Server up to 2.00/03d. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is an unknown part of the file sample_showcode.html. The manipulation of the argument fname with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. Directory traversal vulnerability in sample_showcode.html in Caravan 2.00/03d and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via the fname parameter.
The bug was discovered 02/02/2004. The weakness was disclosed 02/02/2004 by Dr_insane (Website). The advisory is available at members.lycos.co.uk.
