This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file shopreviewlist.asp of the component Shopping Cart. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in VP-ASP Shopping Cart 4.0 through 5.0 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the catalogid parameter in (1) shopreviewlist.asp and (2) shopreviewadd.asp.
The weakness was disclosed 12/31/2004 (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2004-2412 since 08/18/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
