A web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a Redirect. This simplifies phishing attacks. Impacted is integrity. Netdisco before v2.063000 was discovered to contain an open redirect vulnerability. An attacker may exploit this vulnerability to redirect users to arbitrary web URLs by tricking the victim users to click on crafted links.
The weakness was released 07/27/2023 as a2da6a7a046c1c0fd41072dd6991eec7614293f8. The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2023-37624 since 07/10/2023.
