A vulnerability was found in AspDotNetStorefront 3.3 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file deleteicon.aspx. The manipulation of the argument ProductID with an unknown input leads to a access control vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-264. Impacted is integrity. The summary by CVE is:
deleteicon.aspx in AspDotNetStorefront 3.3 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary product images via a modified ProductID parameter.
The weakness was disclosed 06/09/2004 by Thomas Ryan (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2004-2699 since 10/06/2007. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1068 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
