A vulnerability has been found in Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile 11.8/11.9/11.10 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the component File Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. A path traversal vulnerability in Ivanti EPMM versions (11.10.x < 11.10.0.3, 11.9.x < 11.9.1.2 and 11.8.x < 11.8.1.2) allows an authenticated administrator to write arbitrary files onto the appliance.
