A vulnerability was found in Adobe Acrobat up to 6.0.4 (Document Reader Software). It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown function. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-269. Adobe Reader and Acrobat 6.0.4 and earlier, on Mac OSX, has insecure file and directory permissions, which allows local users to gain privileges by overwriting program files.
