A vulnerability has been found in phpCMS 1.1.9/1.2/1.2.1 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the file parser.php of the component Debug Mode. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in parser.php in phpCMS 1.2.1 and earlier, with non-stealth and debug modes enabled, allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the file parameter.
The weakness was released 01/10/2005 by Cyrille Barthelemy (Website). The advisory is available at xforce.iss.net. This vulnerability was named CVE-2004-1202 since 12/14/2004. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
