A vulnerability was found in pnTresMailer 6.0.3. It has been rated as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown processing of the file codebrowserpntm.php. The manipulation of the argument filetodownload with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in codebrowserpntm.php in pnTresMailer 6.0.3 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the filetodownload parameter.
