Affected by this issue is an unknown part of the file /fcgi/scrut_fcgi.fcgi of the component csvExportReport Endpoint. An issue was discovered in /fcgi/scrut_fcgi.fcgi in Plixer Scrutinizer before 19.3.1. The csvExportReport endpoint action generateCSV is vulnerable to SQL injection through the sorting parameter, allowing an unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary SQL statements in the context of the application's backend database server.
The weakness was shared 10/13/2023 as ATREDIS-2023-0001. The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2023-41262 since 08/25/2023. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
Upgrading to version 19.3.1 eliminates this vulnerability.
