A vulnerability has been found in Vladislav Bogdanov snmppd up to 0.4.5 and classified as very critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function snmppd_log of the file snmppd_util.c. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-119. Format string vulnerability in the snmppd_log function in snmppd_util.c for snmppd 0.4.5 and earlier may allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers that are not properly handled in a syslog call.
