A vulnerability was found in MySQL MaxDB up to 7.5.00.23 (Database Software). It has been rated as very critical. This issue affects the function getlocktokenheader of the file wdvhandler_commonutils.c of the component WebDAV. The manipulation of the argument file with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-119. The product performs operations on a memory buffer, but it can read from or write to a memory location that is outside of the intended boundary of the buffer. Multiple buffer overflows in the web tool for MySQL MaxDB before 7.5.00.26 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via (1) an HTTP GET request with a long file parameter after a percent ("%") sign or (2) a long Lock-Token string to the WebDAV functionality, which is not properly handled by the getLockTokenHeader function in WDVHandler_CommonUtils.c.
