A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in AgeVolt Portal. This affects some unknown processing of the component System Setup Menu. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. An arbitrary file upload and directory traversal vulnerability exist in the file upload functionality of the System Setup menu in AgeVolt Portal prior to version 0.1. A remote authenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to upload files to any location on the target operating system with web server privileges.
