A vulnerability was found in OWL Owl Intranet Engine 0.7. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown part of the file browse.php. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in browse.php in OWL 0.7 and 0.8 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) expand or (2) order parameter.
The bug was discovered 12/28/2004. The weakness was published 05/02/2005 by Joxean Koret as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-0264 since 02/10/2005. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
