A vulnerability has been found in PhotoPost PhotoPost PHP Pro up to 4.85 (Programming Language Software) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the file showgallery.php. The manipulation of the argument ppuser with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in showgallery.php in PhotoPost before 4.86 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) cat or (2) ppuser parameter.
The weakness was released 05/02/2005 by James Bercegay with Gulftech as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-0273 since 02/10/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
