A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in osCommerce 2.2 Ms2 (E-Commerce Management Software). Affected is some unknown functionality of the file contact_us.php. The manipulation of the argument enquiry with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. The bug was discovered 02/15/2005. The weakness was shared 05/02/2005 by John Cobb as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at marc.theaimsgroup.com.
