A vulnerability was found in PhotoPost PHP Pro 5.x (Programming Language Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the file showgallery.php. The manipulation of the argument photo with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in PhotoPost PHP Pro 5.x allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) cat, (2) password, (3) ppuser, (4) sort, or (5) si parameters to showgallery.php, the (6) ppuser, (7) sort, or (8) si parameters to showmembers.php, or (9) the photo parameter to slideshow.php.
