A vulnerability was found in WP Editor Plugin up to 1.2.6 on WordPress (WordPress Plugin) and classified as critical. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the component Setting Handler. The WP Editor WordPress plugin before 1.2.7 did not sanitise or validate its setting fields leading to an authenticated (admin+) blind SQL injection issue via an arbitrary parameter when making a request to save the settings.

The weakness was shared 01/16/2024 by Nguyen Van Khanh - Suncsr. The advisory is shared at wpscan.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2021-24151 since 01/14/2021.
