A vulnerability was found in Raiden Professional Servers RaidenFTPD 2.4.2240 (File Transfer Software). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing. Directory traversal vulnerability in RaidenFTPD before 2.4.2241 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a "..\\" (dot dot backslash) in the urlget site command.
The bug was discovered 04/19/2005. The weakness was presented 05/02/2005 by Lachlan. H (Website). The advisory is shared for download at secunia.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-1480 since 05/11/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely.
