A vulnerability was found in Hathway Skyworth Router CM5100 up to 4.1.1.24 (Router Operating System). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability exist in Skyworth Router CM5100, version 4.1.1.24, due to transmission of authentication credentials in plaintext over the network. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by eavesdropping on the victim s network traffic to extract username and password from the web interface (Login Page) of the vulnerable targeted system.
The weakness was disclosed 01/17/2024 by Sushant Mane, Parul Sindhwad, Tushar Nagrare and Dr. Faruk Kazi as CIVN-2024-0013. The advisory is shared for download at cert-in.org.in.
