Details
A vulnerability was found in Elecom WRC-X1800GS-B, WRC-X1800GSA-B, WRC-X1800GSH-B, WRC-X6000XS-G and WRC-X6000XST-G 1.09/1.12/1.17/earlier/earlier. It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown function of the component Request Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a os command injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-78. The product constructs all or part of an OS command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended OS command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
OS command injection vulnerability in ELECOM wireless LAN routers allows a network-adjacent attacker with an administrative privilege to execute arbitrary OS commands by sending a specially crafted request to the product. Affected products and versions are as follows: WRC-X1800GS-B v1.17 and earlier, WRC-X1800GSA-B v1.17 and earlier, WRC-X1800GSH-B v1.17 and earlier, WRC-X6000XS-G v1.09, and WRC-X6000XST-G v1.12 and earlier.
