A vulnerability has been found in Ultimate PHP Board up to 1.8 (Forum Software) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown functionality of the file viewforum.php. The manipulation of the argument postorder with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. viewforum.php in Ultimate PHP Board (UPB) 1.8 through 1.9.6 may allow remote attackers to read sensitive data via the postorder parameter, which is not properly handled by textdb.inc.php, possibly due to a SQL injection vulnerability.
The bug was discovered 05/13/2005. The weakness was disclosed 05/16/2005 by Morinex (Website). The advisory is available at marc.info. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-1615 since 05/16/2005.
