A vulnerability was found in Samsung Smart Phone (Smartphone Operating System) (version now known). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function padmd_vld_qtbl of the file libpadm.so. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a buffer overflow vulnerability. The product copies an input buffer to an output buffer without verifying that the size of the input buffer is less than the size of the output buffer, leading to a buffer overflow. Out-of-bounds Write in padmd_vld_qtbl of libpadm.so prior to SMR Feb-2024 Release 1 allows local attacker to execute arbitrary code.
