A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Net Portal Dynamic System 5.0. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file admin.php. The manipulation of the argument image_subject with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Net Portal Dynamic System (NPDS) 5.0 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the language parameter to (1) admin.php, or (2) powerpack_f.php, (3) the sitename parameter to sdv_infos.php, (4) the categories parameter to faq.php, (5) the lettre parameter to the glossaire module, (6) the title parameter to reviews.php, or (7) the image_subject parameter to reply.php.
The weakness was presented 05/07/2005 by Benjilenoob (Website). The advisory is shared at securitytracker.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-1803 since 06/01/2005. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
