A vulnerability was found in F5 BIG-IP Advanced WAF and BIG-IP ASM up to 16.1.3 (Firewall Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown code block of the component Traffic Management Microkernel. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a return of pointer value outside of expected range vulnerability. When an Advanced WAF/ASM security policy and a Websockets profile are configured on a virtual server, undisclosed traffic can cause the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) process to terminate. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
